Founding of Company Ewald Lang in Wuppertal as a boiler furnace factory.
1938:
Founding of a branch factory in Ansbach/Mfr.
1958:
The Company LANG produce spin dryers and washing machines.
1970:
Günther Neubauer (Technician) and Horst-Werner Putsch (Merchant) become a shareholder.
1970/71:
The deciding step ... We start with the manufacturing of Saunaheaters for finnish saunas.
1977:
Start of the production of sunlamps.
1981:
Expansion of manufactoring and producing of Solariums/tanning devices and infrared radiation devices.
1982/83:
We are expanding our product range to include Rear-wall/Wide-wall sauna heating systems.
1984:
Start of the production of "HELARIUM" - Color light devices for the colored light application in the sauna cabin and relaxation rooms.
1985:
The namesake and constructor Ewald Lang dies.
1987/88:
Lang’s Vaporizer systems – The first Combi-Saunaheaters with an integrated vaporizer are launched.
1991:
Entry of Mr. Stefan Neubauer as a Merchant.
1992:
The Lang family leaves as shareholder the company. The partners Günther Neubauer and
Horst-Werner Putsch manage the company Ewald Lang continues successfully.
1997:
Dirk Putsch joins the company as a Technician.
1997:
Conversion of production to modern CNC manufacturing.
1998:
Expansion of our product range with Underbench-Saunaheaters.
2003:
The managing partner and technical operations manager Günther Neubauer dies.
2003:
Takeover of the company by the sons Stefan Neubauer and Dirk Putsch.
2006:
Relocation to a newly built production hall with administration building to our current location in Burgoberbach near Ansbach.
2016:
With the "THERMOS" Saunaheater-series, LANG brings a Premium Saunaheater on the market, which was specially designed for today's design and quality requirements in modern sauna cabins with large glass elements (fronts).
2017:
With the "Superior" version as an upgrade of the "THERMOS" Saunaheater series, a high-end Saunaheater is placed on the market.
2018:
Our esteemed senior chief, Mr. Horst Werner Putsch, dies in February.
2020:
Presentation of the new Saunaheater series „KUBO-therm“ in autumn in the versions „KUBO-inox“ and „KUBO-noir“.
